As a Clinical Science Liaison, I serve as a resource across W. L. Gore in the development and execution of global publication and presentation strategies for clinical data generated by our studies. All CSL's are expected to maintains an understanding of the clinical study process, clinical data, scientific writing, and publication process for each product from early feasibility through post market registries in order to partner and develop materials based on clinical data.

Study Director

Oversees all aspects of preclinical studies. Responsibilities include: development of an animal model, generation of study protocol and amendments, and oversight of the technical conduct, analysis and interpretations of results. I am familiar with GLP, FDA General Considerations for Animal Studies of Cardiovascular Devices, and ISO 10993-2. Additionally, I have created new policies, forms, SOPs, supported internal cardiovascular teaching courses and helped to organize documents for study final report submission. Key Results: Provide support to the pre-clinical team of the medical products division by providing research, animal model and regulatory advice to project teams. FDA /GLP reports.  Explant Investigator for returned devices. Investigate complaints, write reports  IACUC committee member since 2012. Technical writing: Submitted 56 studies for review and approval by the IACUC since September 2013. Asses and interpret data from multiple sources including: Computed Tomography, Fluoroscopy, echocardiography and gross necropsy

As a Pre-clinical project technician I was committed to necropsy and retrieval of medical devices during pre-clinical trials, explant analysis of returned clinical devices, and dissection of human cadaver cardiovascular anatomy for training Key Results: Provide support to the pre-clinical team of the medical products division by retrieval of study devices, photography, X-ray, tissue/device fixation for histology and complete descriptions of necropsies.
