 Received the “Inspirational Leader” award as nominated by 30 of my leadership peers across the organization. Supervise team of 8 EDI Professionals comprised of 5 - Sr. Analysts and 3 - Sr. Developers. Created new EDI guidelines to include automation in all current and future projects to eliminate manual work efforts across the organization where data and file movement is required. Imposed new communication methods between our department and the business department/s to allow for clearer direction and ongoing support. Implemented a new project intake process to include the gathering and approval of business requirements, creation of SOP and functional requirement documents, development, QA and Unit testing, UAT and sign off of from all stakeholders prior to deployment.  Identified workflow deficiencies across multiple IS teams and started working with other IS supervisors to implement new processes that would allow for more efficiency. Reviewed current inbound processes from trading partners where multiple proprietary formats were being received, found deficiencies and implemented new solutions to standardize inbound data. Performed gap analysis on all ANSI transactions to and from current trading partners and created EDI strategic plan to implement standardized transactions for all. Compiled a list of all current data interfaces and assigned them to correct IS teams.  Led numerous regulatory projects with heavy EDI-IS impact to successful implementation.
