As Protocol Monitor I have taught the GlobalFoundries Cleanroom Protocol class to construction contractors and vendors so that they may understand what is acceptable behavior and standards in the cleanroom. I ensure that cleanroom protocol is adhered to at all times by auditing contractors who are doing "dirty work" in the cleanroom, doing visual inspections in all areas and performing particle excursion testing when needed. I review and approve permits for any dirty work being performed in the cleanroom, and make sure that all dirty work is contained appropriately to avoid the spread of contamination in the cleanroom.

As a Quality Assurance inspector I was responsible for inspecting incoming and in-process materials. I did final testing on products to ensure they were made properly and post-sterile testing. I reviewed the Device History Records of the products and the loads for sterilization to ensure that they were built to specification. I reviewed the sterilization batch records and released both sterile and non-sterile products to the distribution centers. I did Certificate of Analysis for products going to Latin America and authentication of products with controlled drugs in them (pedigrees). I performed Internal audits to ensure products were being made to specification and helped with audits conducted by the FDA and TUV by pulling required paperwork and reviewing it for accuracy. I worked on Engineering Change Requests to update controlled procedures and forms. I trained incoming Quality Assurance inspectors.

Coordinated Engineering Change Requests with Tyco HealthCare employees on procedures, drawings and forms for transfer to Mexico. I worked closely with Hudson RCI Document Control employees in California to ensure correct and timely transfer of said procedures, forms and drawings. I generated purchase orders for print mats, inspected and distributed them to the Mexico plant. I trained the employees at the Mexico plant to increase proficiency.

I was responsible for the inspection of raw materials, in-process product, final inspections and post sterile inspections using AQL rulers, calipers, rulers, microscopes, microviews, instron tensile test machines. I built pallets of product for sterilization, reviewed the load sheets ready for the sterilizer to ensure the product listed was the product on the pallets, reviewed the sterilization batch records and released both sterile and non-sterile products to the distribution centers.
