Hi!My name is Christos Samaras and I am mechanical engineer, researcher and Ph.D. candidate at the Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics. My research work deals primarily with engine and vehicle emissions modelling and testing. The elaboration of emission inventories for cities and smaller regions, the processing of experimental data and the software development are some of my typical daily tasks. Apart from the theoretical background, I have more than three years of work experience in industrial and renewable energy projects. I have been quality manager at a large refinery project in Thessaloniki and I have elaborated several hydraulic, electrical and biomass studies as a freelancer.
