I received a B.S. degree in the major of Geographic Information System from Hefei University of Technology, in June 2007. Throughout my undergraduate study, I acquired a comprehensive knowledge of information system in all its complexity.I additionally like Design and Graphic Arts, so I studied Art & Design and earned a master degree from Renmin University of China. In 2010, as one of the top students of the year, I won the opportunity to study in the University of Oklahoma in the US as an exchange student.After graduating from Renmin University of China, I began my career in a technology company. I took a deep interest in database management & analysis during my work.Because of my enthusiasm about advanced information systems, I applied and got enrolled in VCU Information Systems master program. I graduated in May 2018 (GPA: 3.909). While a student at VCU Business School, I had the opportunity to learn a number of valuable skills such as computer skills, business skills, decision-making ability, clear communication and leadership that will undoubtedly contribute to my success in my future career. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue some work experience. In my free time, I had the privilege of working as an IT Director for Central Virginia Chinese School, where I learned valuable professional skills such as database management, data analysis and interpretation, website update, and network configuration & troubleshooting, etc. In both of my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as a good problem solver by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, which I hope to leverage into my future career.
