LC-MS/MS method development for quantitation and characterization of protein therapeutics and protein-drug conjugates in biological matrices

• Characterization of protein modification using mass spectrometric, NMR, HPLC, and spectrophotometric methods• Investigation of the metabolism of lipid peroxidation products using a combination of metabolomics and mass isotopomer analysis• Discovery and purification of the enzymes in the metabolism pathway using FPLC and LCMS based enzyme activity assay• Development of LC/MS and GC/MS methods for quantification of lipid peroxidation products in biological matrices• Synthesis of lipid peroxidation products and derivatives for the mechanism study of their bioconjugation to peptides and amino acids• Synthesis of hapten-protein conjugates for antibody production and immunoassay (ELISA, Western Blot) development against lipid peroxidation products as biomarkers in oxidative stress and diseases
