I am a Pediatric Pharmacist specialising in Pediatric critical care with more than 7 years of clinical experience. I utilise my strong skills in communication and attention to details to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.My core competencies include advising on pediatric drug dosage, drug timing, infusion compatibility, and alternative drugs for various medical conditions. I work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care and ensure no harmful side effects or outcomes from the drugs being prescribed. I also counsel young patients and their guardians on their medications and monitor their health progress. In addition, I am passionate about pharmacy education and clinical research. I serve as a preceptor for training and education to other pediatric pharmacists and co-authored the Kelantan State PICU Protocol on ventilator settings, fluid resuscitation, inotropes, and sedative agent dosage. I also collaborate with a team of healthcare workers in clinical research paper writing and publication, contributing real-life data and clinical expertise in the field of pediatrics. I also routinely participate in weekly antibiotic ward rounds in a team of trio with an Infectious Disease (ID) specialist and Microbiologist to Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU).My mission is to serve quality patient care through constant education and research on drug knowledge and their effects.
