Began my Orthopedic sales representative career with DePuy early 1988 in West Palm Beach, Fl. After a successful first year, I accepted the challenge of establishing a Depuy presence in the uncharted waters of Melbourne, Fl. From 1989 to 1996, I successfully built a multi-million dollar territory selling AML hips, LCS knees as well as the ACE trauma line. Utilizing the physician relationships earned from '89-'96, I began my career as an independent businessman by forming DTM Medical. Today, DTM enjoys a small niche identity selling in the spine and biologics market. Preceding the OIG debacle, I founded TruMedical Distributions in 2008. TMD's business plan was to create physician owned distribution opportunities. TruMedical was one of the first companies to enter into the 'unknown' world of POD's.
