About Chuck Branch

Chuck is a mixed signal design engineer with an in-depth knowledge of digital and analog design. He has worked on integrated circuit design projects ranging from a sub-threshold hearing aid operating at 8 kHz up to 4 lane 100G Ethernet CDR operating at 28 GHz. Leveraging his uncommon breadth and depth of experience across digital, analog, RF, power management and firmware he develops leading edge systems that meet specification and are delivered on schedule. He works across boundaries between these disciplines to develop novel solutions to complex problems, frequently generating intellectual property.Chuck creates methodologies to test and verify the interaction between analog and digital circuits and systems. Calling upon his understanding of the fundamental principals EDA tools utilize, he is able to easily work within any tool chain. He can translate circuit level analog designs into VerilogAMS meeting targets ranging from high speed event based models to accurate numerical models improving design cycle time and accuracy.Utilizing his knowledge of design and methodology, Chuck regularly delivers designs with industry leading performance and cost at the lowest power while meeting quality and testability requirements on schedule.
