Work Experience 2010.7-Present: Shanghai DARE-GLOBLE | Home & Wireless Business Department | Hardware Design EngineerMy group is focusing on home and wireless products development for consumer users. In the past 3 years, I joined following projects.•Smart Home Center Server & Sub-controller Smart home solution is a new strategic product for my company. This solution contains a center server and several sub-controllers. The center server works like a brain, it provides the wireless router feature and some advanced sub-controller manage feature. These sub-controller can be customized connect and control furnishing equipment via ZIGBEE protocol. This solution provides rich services for end users, such as Internet access, remote furnishing equipment control, home security monitor and scenario mode management.In this project, I worked as a hardware design engineer. Focus on preliminary work, like confirm the schematic and layout design, troubleshooting and performance test. In power on phase, I support at manufacture factory and solve many critical issue.•Wireless Access and Storage SolutionThis solution is combined the traditional wireless router and NAS (Network Access Storage) into a device, and provide a low cost personal network sharing solution.I live through whole life cycle of this project and work as the only one hardware guy. It is my first project which based on a general ARM architecture processor. It is much more difficult than the other network specific processor based projects.•Mobility Wireless AP, like the Airport Extreme from APPLEIt’s a pocket AP router with portable changer feature. The key feature of the project is the power management. It contains switchable multiple power supply paths design and circuit mode detection design. I focused on schematic design and PCB layout review.
