Applications supported include McKesson Lab v14.1, Horizon Blood Blank, Sunquest PowerPath, and Sunquest CoPath. Support includes development of serial and TCP/IP interfaces for new lab instrumentation incorporating term servers when appropriate and Data Innovations middleware running Instrument Manager software. Setup of new lab tests included database build and appending translation tables in the MLAB interface (LabLink). Troubleshooting of various break/fix issues often involved examination of HL7 messaging, modification of database objects, configuration changes and assessing application and server metrics. I perform scheduled maintenance on the MLAB application servers cluster, Horizon Blood Bank HL7, Database servers and Provue Interfaces. Point of care systems supported included the Inform AccuChek devices, iSTAT, Avox Co-oximeter, and Epoc blood testing system used in conjunction with the Alere RALS and Telcor data management systems.
