Health Care experience is a plus. Candidate must be experienced in electrical engineering and design including preparation of construction documents, client contact, coordination of work with other disciplines, and coordination with other professionals. Work includes visiting project sites during design and construction to review systems located above ceiling and in tunnels.DESIRED SKILLSCandidate must have a BS.PE in the State of Illinois is desirable.Must be knowledgeable of the following codes: NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 99, NFPA101, International Energy Conservation Code, International Building Code2 to 15 years of experience in electrical power system design, lighting, fire alarm system, and other low voltage systems.The successful candidate must have the communication skills and desire to develop positive relationships with clients, other consultants, contractors and staff.Experience in specification development, shop drawing submittal review and cost estimating.Candidate will need experience in the use of AutoCAD.Understanding of Autodesk Revit is helpful.
