Chuck has been in IT management for over 35 years and in senior positions for more than 20. Prior to joining Dismas Charities in August of 2015 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, Chuck was a senior strategy advisor at Hartman Executive Advisors, a mid-Atlantic IT Strategy Advisory firm for 6 years, the last two of which he served as COO. Prior to Hartman Chuck was the CIO at two nationally recognized insurance companies, PHICO Group and Donegal Insurance Group. During his long IT management career, Chuck has specialized in bridging the gap between the business objectives of the firms he has served and the vast array of technology solutions available to create tangible ROI and business value through the deployment of leading edge technology. He has gained a reputation for on time, within budget, and value added delivery through the development of IT processes designed for efficiency and cost effectiveness. His keen ability to analyze numbers and management reports allows Chuck to uncover opportunities for process improvement, expense reduction, and increased revenue in places often not obvious to the casual observer. After a long career in IT Chuck now brings his extensive general business experience to mission based Dismas Charities in an expanded role which adds Finance and HR, along with IT to his leadership responsibilities. The Dismas mission focuses on assisting former federal and KY state inmates get a fresh start on life as they assimilate back into society.
