Leader for residential treatment program for at-risk youth. I did my best to help a staff of 40 focus on their passion which is helping at-risk teens. This job was a lot of fun and involved a lot of problem solving and focus. A new skill learned during this position was working with the Joint Commission, NAAS, and the State of Idaho for accreditation and licensing.

Raft Guide on the Payette River in Idaho. Focused on safely taking kids down the river with the goal of providing an experience that thaught them about life and would be remembered for a lifetime.

Tutored Intro to Programming (Java), Database, Word, Excel and Access. Developed SNMP monitoring system for networking lab. Organized CIO Forum events and maintained web site.

My primary responsibilities were to ensure the Trust Division had sufficient technical resources to do their job. Significant accomplishments include leading a conversion to Active Directory, designing and implementing a new server room, and many migrations to new database systems. Technology included early work with wireless, developing testing systems, early adoption of fiber network and web applications.Two people really helped me with my career while at Union Bank. Brian Watkins, the IT manager hired me for an entry level position and quickly gave me more responsibility and training. Chad Melcher, Trust Operations Manager, gave me the chance to grow as a leader and decision maker.I really respected this organization because the family who own the bank are ethical, professional, treat people well and are long term oriented. At the same time, they are creative, growth oriented and leaders.
