Everyone uses and depends on technology whether they know it or not. From cell phones to computers to air conditioning, electronics have become integral to daily life. Understanding how technology works is a rare trait to find. The ability to understand technology is not easy to develop. Years of studying computers, electronics and logic have been combined with hands-on experience to help solidify my ability to solve problems. Beginning with the basics is key to understanding the source of equipment failures. Throughout my career, I have studied all types of technology and developed my abilities to determine how they are supposed to work. The best way to solve problems is to know how to learn every day. Whether working on an ancient computer system that controls a vertical lathe, or programming the latest motor controllers on the market, every day presents another reminder that learning never stops. Taking difficult problems, breaking them down to the basics, and making them work again is what I do. Communication is key in business but it is hard to find technicians that can communicate easily with everyone. Whether discussing the best application options with engineers, or explaining complex failures to a customer, the most rewarding part of my career, has been developing my ability to communicate effectively with everyone.
