* Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Compliance, Quality Control, Internal Audit, and all Risk Management functions for multi-billion dollar independent mortgage bank. * Established common-sense risk management principles throughout Compliance and QC functions, resulting in positive and effective relationships with executive management, sales, and operations. * Directed the migration of outsourced QC function to one that was internally managed, resulting in immediate cost efficiencies, more effective audits, and actionable reporting. * Effectively managed various regulator and agency examinations; monitored and responded to various complaints and legal matters; and updated all state and federal compliance policies, including the development of an internal policy library.
