Strategic Sourcing (June 2006 - Present): Direct and maintain a 10-person, center-led Strategic Sourcing organization focused on driving cost reduction and operational efficiency through contract remediation/negotiation, strategic vendor relationships, and business process improvement. Ultimately responsible for over $1.2bn in annual expenditures including $400 million of direct supply chain management and approximately $20 million in annual Capital Expenditure sourcing. Since its inception in 2006, the group has driven over $150mm to Meredith’s bottom line.Production Operations (April 2011 - Present): Direct and indirectly manage a 120 – person organization responsible for advertising ingestion, color correction, magazine make-up, production and distribution of Meredith’s magazine brands and ~120 special interest media publications.Newsstand Operations (April 2014 - Present): Direct and manage a 7-person staff ultimately responsible for the distribution and merchandising of Meredith magazines in retail outlets. Direct and prioritize Third Party Administrator (TPA) workloads, ensuring that vendor(s) meet performance standards, follow best practices to complete work to predetermined quality levels, and meet all deadlines. Actively identify opportunities to improve outcomes (sales) and work products. Manage departmental rack and promotional spending, evaluate and approve/deny requisitioned spending, review and approve Newsstand budgeting and forecasting.

Associated duties include managing $30MM expense budget as well as vendor management and staff oversight.Highlights:• Spearheaded effort to implement comprehensive Campaign Management tool using MicroStrategies.• Converted Meredith’s outsourced marketing database and CRM operations to an in-sourced solution.• Developed and administered the first formal RFP process for Meredith’s Fulfillment operations; saving Meredith approximately $2mm annually.
