Chuck is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Chuck began his undergraduate studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where he played football & was active in student government. He earned a Bachelor of the Arts in History, and a Masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama. He earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was Vice President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the school’s Frederick Douglass Moot Court team and also helped found the Sports and Entertainment Law Society Upon graduation, he worked as a prosecutor at the Mobile District Attorney's Office. Chuck was mentored by Johnnie L. Cochran and Jock M. Smith. He practiced for over a decade with a nationwide personal injury law firm where he was involved with numerous multi-million dollar verdicts. Chuck’s primary areas of practice include:• wrongful death• car and truck accidents• personal injury• work-related injuries• off-shore/maritime injuries• medical malpractice• consumer fraud• drunk driving accidents• defective products• premises liabilityChuck is admitted to practice law in the Northern, Middle and Southern United States District Courts for the State of Alabama, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th and 11th Circuits. Chuck is also a licensed sports agent. He is actively involved in numerous state and local bar associations. He is currently President of the Montgomery County Association for Justice and past president of the Capital City Bar Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Brantwood Children’s Home. Chuck is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Stillman Masonic Lodge # 490 and attends Resurrection Catholic Church.
