Management of all QC and Audit responsibilities for national mortgage originator. Key responsibilities include facilitation of enterprise compliance risk self-assessment in order to identify control weaknesses and drive improvement, management of all ongoing quality control functions for compliance and underwriting as well as the development and implementation of internal audit program with an initial focus on customer impacts.

Manage nationwide Origination Quality Control Department utilizing process control systems to maximize accuracy, efficiency and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Direct audit functions for regulatory compliance and underwriting quality. Coordinate analysis, reporting and the communication of issues to operations leaders and senior management in order to proactively mitigate root causes of deficiencies and reduce risk to the business.

Managed Barclays’ entire mortgage and home equity origination department including underwriting, processing, data entry, accounts payable and document preparation functions. Maintained signing authority up to $1MM on residential mortgages and home equity lines of credit.
