Lead an International Team that is responsible for all infrastructure technology for the entire company. Primary goal is to develop and execute a strategic, long-term information technology vision that achieves measurable business results and growth.

Primary responsibilities included design, implementation, and management of all major technologies within Cadmus. While in this role, operating costs were reduced by 30% for the department with no impact on support team’s capabilities Cenveo acquired Cadmus in 2007 expanding my role to define and execute a technology strategy for the entire company to consolidate 19+ datacenter into two major computing centers.Key accomplishments:• Planned a datacenter consolidation project for Cenveo recognizing all of the various datacenters (20) around the business and collapsing down to two main datacenters. Expected annual saving of $1.2MM. • Built international technology support team in India to support Cadmus’ expanding offshore business. • Defined technology strategy to support Cadmus’ Government Services environment. Requirements included adhering to Department of Defense secret security clearance. • Implemented a central computing model using Voice over IP, Citrix, VMWare, thin client devices, and other technology to create a low cost computing environment for remote offices resulting in $200K in annual savings.• Implement a security structure that included an in-line intrusion protection system, along with quarterly vulnerability scans.• Defined, managed and supported the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements for the infrastructure team.

Responsible for managing the development, installation, and support of all technical processes within Cadmus Journal Service (CJS), a subsidiary of Cadmus Communication, production technology environment. Key Accomplishments:• Built a world-class highly redundant datacenter to support Cadmus’ customer facing applications. • Designed, and implemented a backup solution that reduced the overall backup time by 300%. • Developed and implemented the Disaster Recovery plan for the Production Technology business.• Reconfigured the production computing environment to meet a 99.9% Service Level availability agreement.• Reconfigured helpdesk services to provide a more effective service reducing mean time to resolution.• Managed the vendor relationships, which include contract negotiation and service level management.

While at Massey Energy, direct responsibilities included ensuring stability and configuration of the Lawson Enterprise System and other enterprise systems. This includes researching and developing methods that constantly improve the availability of the Enterprise systems, and ensuring that issues are resolve quickly and efficiently. Key accomplishments:• Managed the development, implementation, and testing of the Information Technology disaster recovery plan. • Spearheaded an effort to improve and develop security protocols by initiating a trusted environment, setting up a strong password protocol, synchronizing user’s passwords between the server and the applications, designed the Lawson security environment, and establishing audit guidelines for security.• Managing the design, setup, and support of the company’s document management product that allows the generation of robust reports from a simple text file document. • Technical Liaison for the Integrated Payment System project, Procurement installation project, Payroll and HR installation project, and the Accounts Receivable installation project.
