On the inpatient side, this included putting in CPOE with 91.5% of medication orders now being entered electronically and over 60% of all physician orders within nine months. On the ambulatory side, we have helped over 200 physicians reach Stage I compliance during 2012. In addition, we’re implementing an active HIE to facilitate the migration to Stage II for both the hospital and our physicians.Partnered with area physician practices to create a community-wide patient portal (HealthyUpstate.Org) to bring together patients, physicians and the hospital in moving towards a clinicially integrated network.Strong leadership in employee engagement and financial management during challenging times for healthcare.
