This is a 1-hour course that I designed that educates attendees on failure rates, success factors, and other important aspects of business ownership.Additionally, I created a seminar on the benefits and steps in buying a franchise and this seminar is presenter several times annualy through Score and Kirkwood.

Launched Test Prep Seminars as a college preparation testing company in 2002. Grew this small business into a 5 employee business with $490K in revenue reaching over 10,000 students per year.Designed a seminar that presented ACT and SAT test prep information in a way that increased student involvement, attendance, and concept retention. Test Prep Seminars focused on test taking and time management strategies that significantly enhanced testing results for both the ACT and SAT college prep exams.

ZAPS Learning Company conducts educational seminars across the nation, assisting high school students toward higher test scores and achieving their goal of attaining a college education. Worked as an Educational Consultant and Instructor before opening Test Prep Seminars to focus on the Texas market exclusively.

Converted Cedar Rapids PIP franchises into new startup venture. Operated under the name PrintSource. Successfully sold business in 2000.

Became a Franchise Owner for PIP Printing in 1975. Consistently achieved the Top 10% in revenue out of over 1200 stores. Served on numerous steering committees within the frachise over a 20 year period. Played a major role in the rebranding of PIP at the national level which included new business logo design and marketing strategies.Worked in partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to hold Child Safety Days annually to provide fingerprints, safety kits, and education on safety awareness.When the frachise expired in 1995 we changed the name to PrintSource and eventually sold the business in 2000.
