Responsibilities and accomplishments includeo Revision of the San Benito County General Plan: Coordinated and supervised public information workshops regarding revision of the County’s general plan o Revised the County of San Benito’s Habitat Conservation Plan: Worked with State Department fish and game to start an endangered species plan for the conservation of the California Tiger Salamander and other endangered species. Initiated and supervised, Proposed Project Review Team, involving multiple state and county departments for the preliminary review of proposed projects  Conducted meetings with various wineries within the county to form a Wine Trial and Wine Tourism Committee.  Presented proposed planning and redevelopment projects to the County’s Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Supervisors Environmental and economic impact review of The Hotel at Tres Pinos proposed project Team review with the City of Hollister CA. on a Lowes & shopping center proposal Lead Planner for the county, the project was to be built in the county and later annexed into the City of Hollister Environmental impact report on a proposed Racing and Vehicle recreation center Environmental and economic impact review of the Santana Ranch Specific Plan  An 1,100 single and multi-family subdivision including parks, school(s), and neighborhood commercial and retail sites Worked on several major subdivision projects as lead planner including a proposed 2500 home self reliant multi use, town center project Revised San Benito County’s mining operations to adhere to California’s State Mining and Reclamation Act(SMARA) program guidelines  Initiated and supervised county addressing review committee involving federal, state and county organizations, including the US Postal Service, State and County 911 services and local planning departments,  Creation and implementation of San Benito County’s Wine Trail Tourism Plan.
