    In this position, I conduct flight simulator training for the Primary (T-6B) aircraft in all phases of Navy pilot training. I use various instructional methods including lecture and hands-on learning opportunities so that each student can engage in the lessons. To prepare for classes, I maintain and upgrade courseware and syllabi for instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, CBT, and lectures. I also keep up my own certification in all phases of simulator training. I evaluate student performance and identify opportunities for remediation and re-training. I am proud of the fact that I was selected to be one of ten instructors qualified to teach all categories of Naval Pilot Training.

    On this project, I oversaw a +$10M contract for labor force operating unmanned aerial vehicles in the Democratic Republic of Congo supporting UN peacekeeping efforts, end-to-end I managed the work responsibilities for 15 staff, including scheduling rotations in and out of Africa, travel planning, hiring, and feedback. I collaborated across work groups on procedure and best practice design and retention efforts. In this position, I succeeded in repairing contentious relationships between several companies to salvage a lucrative contract, and I restructured our scheduling process to maximize personnel plan and save 25% in staffing costs. As an upshot of this, attrition was reduced 30% in just two months.

    In this assignment, I scheduled and trained 38 Instructor Pilots and 400 undergraduate combat systems officers on 22 T-6 aircraft valued at $118M. Additionally, I provided training in other aircraft and simulators. I coached struggling students to be able to successfully complete the course, and I scheduled over 7000 student events and several hundred qualification sorties. In my tenure here, I reduced Time to Train by 10% by revamping the scheduling process for training.

    I had the opportunity to be a key contributor to system fielding and tactics development; conducting Force development Evaluation and operational Test and Evaluation of high-altitude intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems. I was also charged with managing +$100M in security and reconnaissance assets and directing operations, intelligence, and engineering analysts. I maintained combat readiness for the base, and I was deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom to train International Security Assistance Forces and provide services to protect coalition forces. During this deployment, I safely recovered crippled aircraft, saving lives and $80M in assets.I am proud to have served as the inaugural pilot for successful control of Global Hawk outside of a flight-restricted area, and training the initial cadre of instructor pilots to continue these flights.
