Combining the aspects of quality control and improvement with continuing employee education centered on these… Show more During my tenure at Rockford Ambulance I have held several positions, I am currently involved in and have knowledge of all aspects, however- my recent duties are centered on marketing, public relations, and inventory supply for Rockford Ambulance.Quality Improvement Supervisor- the review of patient care reports, compiling statistics and monthly reviews of policy and protocol. Combining the aspects of quality control and improvement with continuing employee education centered on these reviews and trends. Operations Supervisor- Overseeing the day to day operations of an ambulance company. I have been responsible for interviewing and hiring of new employees, reviewing current employees for annual reviews and promotions. The publishing and maintaining of the ambulance crew schedule of daily employee assignments for over 50 employees for 24-hour shifts on ambulances, up to four wheelchair vans and other special events as needed. Currently involved in the review and oversight of the Field Intern Program, advising 2-3 Field Training officers, in monthly meetings and as needed. I have been involved in three Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) applications and on-site reviews. Marketing and Public Relations Supervisor- I work with various groups and businesses within the community to maintain and build upon relationships. This includes scheduling and performing ambulance demonstrations and lectures to various community groups. One of the largest on-going programs has been our Bike Helmet Safety Program, promoting the use of bike helmets for all ages. Also promote and advertise Rockford Ambulance CPR/ First Aid classes. Supply Coordinator- for the past two years, my duties has included being supply inventory coordinator for Rockford Ambulance. I have implemented inventory controls and cost saving measures resulting in more consistency in availability of products and higher quality keeping within a budget. Show less
