Building on my background of creating and growing technology teams, I came to Pizza Hut as a Senior Manager of digital engineering to establish an internal technology practice and help lead our digital transformation. In this role we were able to establish modern cloud native engineering and delivery practices including adoption of CI/CD systems, containerized architecture, and a microservice oriented technology strategy.

In this role, I established a dev ops team utilizing the Scrum Agile SDLC within the AT&T Partner Solutions organization. I have been responsible for hiring personnel, acquiring hardware and software platforms, architecting and implementing those hardware and software platforms and developing web-based applications and automation systems. I also established a new cloud based deployment architecture based on Docker containers managed by a Rancher implementation and automated through Continuous Integration services. Within the 18 months, due to our outstanding results, the team tripled in size and has grown to be a leading example of effective development in the organization.

In this position, I created a new internal software development team working the new AT&T Uverse organization. This included being the first developer on the team, providing web based software solutions, as well as staffing the team, selecting and implementing our hardware and software infrastructure, and managing our SDLC approach and cycle with the organization. In my time managing this team, it grew from nothing, to a team of almost 30 developers and team leads including local, remote, and international employees and contractors intimately supporting an organization of over 1500 people.
