With over a decade of experience building and running companies, I am an experienced CEO-level leader with multifunctional experience in operations, finance, product innovation, sales, and business development. I have a demonstrated track record of building and managing high-functioning teams that operate in highly complex business environments, and I am a recognized and respected pioneer in the legal regulated cannabis industry.I co-founded Dixie Brands in 2009 and took over as CEO in 2015, eventually taking the company public in 2018 and continuing as CEO and Board Chair until the merger that formed BellRock Brands in 2021. I stepped down as CEO in 2022 but continue to serve as a Board Member and oversee M&A activity for the Board.In 2022, I founded Island Peak Capital Advisors, which provides industry-based advisory services, including operational management, interim-CEO, M&A, and financing. I have been involved in multiple client engagements, including participating in a $600 million M&A transaction.I am also involved in other companies, including Southeast Cannabis Company, which I formed to focus on building a southern regional vertically integrated cannabis operator, and Good Seed Capital, which I helped form and launch as a partner, providing capital to mid-market cannabis operators.
