At Micronoma, I served as the Quality Manager for a dynamic startup, playing a pivotal role in establishing the clinical lab area. My responsibilities included ordering essential equipment and supplies, as well as implementing critical tests. I managed and authored policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducted thorough inspections and audits, and supported CLIA, CAP, and NYS audits. Additionally, I contributed to the FDA 510(k) submission process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of quality and precision within the laboratory.

At DermTech Inc., I joined the team when the company was a small startup with only about ten employees. In this early stage, I wore many hats, contributing to various areas including accessioning, logistics, customer service, quality control, and serving as the Safety Officer. As the company expanded and new roles were filled, I took charge of training new employees, ensuring they were well-prepared for their responsibilities. I managed training programs, conducted audits and inspections, handled CAPAs, and addressed safety issues and concerns. Additionally, I wrote and reviewed policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managed the oversight of FDA-approved kits, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
