I am currently enrolled at Franklin Pierce University in Manchester NH pursuing my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Currently, where I currently hold a 3.84 cumulative GPA. I am on track to complete the curriculum and full time clinical rotations in early February of 2023, and plan to sit for the board exam in April of 2023. At present, I have completed one full time outpatient orthopedic clinical rotation at BayState Physical Therapy in Needham. During this rotation, I was able to apply didactic knowledge in a clinical setting to provide effective physical therapy interventions to my established caseload. Prior to enrolling at FPU, I attended Quinnipiac University where I earned a bachelors degree in health sciences. During my time at Quinnipiac, I worked as an outpatient rehab aide where I gained knowledge of how a clinic is run and improved time management and professional communication skills. Upon graduating Quinnipiac, I moved back to Nashua, NH where I got a job as an outpatient rehabilitation aide at Elliot Rehabilitation Services in Manchester NH. This job allowed me to observe a variety of patients including orthopedic, neurological, aquatic, and pediatric populations. I became interested in Physical Therapy from a young age. I was an active child and was in and out of a physical therapy clinic. The clinic's ability to improve a patient's functional status while fostering a collaborative relationship with the patient was something that has stuck with me throughout my professional career. I believe that anyone should be able to live a life on their own terms, unimpeded by injury or disorders.
