Summary: Operate a self-propelled roof bolt jumbo or a stopper to properly install roofbolts 8' bolts in roof and tell tails as directed by Mine Superintendent or Mine Foreman. General Working Conditions: works in underground mine where temperatures in work area range from 78-100 degrees F. The relative humidity is high in the summer an low in winter. Work areas are generally dry. Lighting is provided in key areas, however, most areas are illuminated only by a miners cap lamp and/or by equipment lighting. Floor heave is prevalent and may result in uneven floor conditions. Floors maybe polished by mobile equipment that is on motion as well as around energized power cables. As with all work underground, this position requires attention to be paid to roof and rib conditions.

Operate machine to package 10 pound packages of road grade salt for consumers to melting snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways.
