Process Technician
CurrentDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:• Develops and maintains programs associated with automated production equipment.• Develops programs and/or methods to optimize producibility and reduce cycle time, manufacturing losses, and overall costs.• Performs preventative maintenance to automated production equipment• Assures process or product adheres to the company quality program and plans by recommending corrective and preventive actions• Monitors and measures manufacturing losses and develops new techniques to reduce loses and improve quality.• Analyzes process to recommend floor layout and facilities justification.• Recommends and implements changes to product or process which would improve cost, delivery, and quality for the customer.• Participates in overall product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.• Perform torque tool calibration and maintain database of all equipment requiring calibration. Contracts outside calibration as required.• Develops programs and/or methods to optimize Automated Optical Inspection equipment and reduce cycle time, manufacturing losses, costs and improve quality.
