Hired as part of an ownership transition to grow sales and lead business process transformation. Responsible for all Finance, Accounting, IT and HR activities, and act as a key business partner to the CEO in developing sales strategy. Full income statement and balance sheet responsibility, including performance management, annual budgets, forecasting, strategic planning, cash flow and profitability analysis, and reporting. Manage all general accounting activities from order to cash, including sales tax. Plan and manage all IT operations, including local area network, network security, ERP and all supporting business systems. Lead all HR operations, including HR policy, people management, and payroll.· Co-led product portfolio refresh, and implemented B2B customer web portal technology to streamline ordering process, which lead to top line growth of over ten percent.· Led complete refresh of order to cash process, resulting in improved order accuracy and throughput, as well as significant improvements in cash flow.· Led complete redesign of company sales tax process, to ensure compliance with recent changes in sales tax law.· Led implementation of company-wide HRIS system, modernizing company HR records, payroll, and timekeeping, reducing processing costs and improving overall timekeeping accuracy.· Led outsourcing of all company IT functions, including network, security, and desktop, resulting in an overall reduced cost of computing, while significantly improving network security, and providing improved business tools.

Senior member of the Chief Accounting Office, which ensures financial statement compliance with U.S. GAAP for Motorola Solutions, Inc., a public company with a market cap of approximately $13 billion.

Member of Enterprise Mobility technical accounting team, which was tasked with the design and implementation a worldwide process for ensuring that revenue was recognized in accordance with GAAP.

Managed financial operations for Motorola’s Worldwide Research and Development organization ($1.6 billion in budget, approximately 12,000 engineers). This included management of operating and capital budgets, headcount, balance sheet accounts, and both internal and tax reporting.

Managed financial operations for the North America public safety business, comprised of a direct sales channel ($300M sales), indirect sales channel ($170M sales), and a systems support call center. This included coordination of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, operating budgets, capital, and field inventory. .

Managed financial operations for a large portion of Motorola’s Schaumburg factory facility (approximately $300 million in sales).

Managed intenral controls for Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Segment.

Planned, performed, and managed numerous internal audits in a variety of Motorola locations, worldwide. Supervised culturally diverse audit teams consisting of four to six people, on a variety of domestic and international audit engagements.
