Seapine Software is the leading provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions sold worldwide. Seapine's products run on Microsoft Windows®, Linux®, Sun Solaris®, and Apple Macintosh® platforms. * I recruited C++ software engineers, sales and marketing staff. * I selected and implemented the company's first applicant tracking system (ATS). * I saved Seapine over $160,000 by managing the company's participation in the Ohio Third Frontier program. While at Seapine, my college recruiting efforts made that company the #1 employer of University of Cincinnati Computer Science co-ops 4 of the past 5 years. I created recruiting collateral to promote company opportunities to students and faculty. I participated in career fairs at numerous college campuses and have spoken on the job search process many times at several college classes.

Corporate recruiter for an IT services firm where I recruited network administrators, PC repair specialists and sales professionals. In addition, PC On Call used my expertise as a Contract Recruiter for some of their clients. In that role, I recruited field service engineers for a machine tool company. PC On Call provided home PC repair and outsourced network services and VoIP solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. I recruited for both the Cincinnati headquarters office and all field locations (Columbus, Indianapolis, Cleveland and Pittsburgh).

Retek creates software for the retail industry. Most of my experience was with their warehouse management system (WMS). (I became a Retek employee when they acquired PCS Technologies.) Retek has been acquired by Oracle.Customer Support Relationship Manager (CSRM) • Served as the first point of contact for customers such as Kroger, The Disney Stores, Ann Taylor, Target, Walmart.com, et al. Prior to Retek’s acquisition of PCS Technologies in 1998, I had various responsibilities: • Recruiting, new employee orientation, training, exit interviews, Take Your Daughter to Work Day program, etc. • Started up the Customer Support function. Transitioned it from an informal process to one using an automated issue-tracking tool. • Wrote marketing material for trade magazines, qualified sales leads, configured server hardware for proposals, trade show coordinator.• Purchasing at a start-up industrial PC division.• Shipping, importing/exporting, numerous special projects

Supervised up to 80 professional information systems consultants. Conducted performance reviews, managed salary increases against a budget, handled disciplinary issues, etc. Managed to keep the turnover rate of technical professionals at half the national corporate average. Managed to significantly increase employee satisfaction as measured in the employee attitude survey. Wrote and edited a monthly newsletter for the local branch office.
