I am in charge of Sales for a start up company that produces highly engineered steel rounds for global seamless steel producers, rolling mills and ring rollers (oil country, industrial equipment) and distribution. The company is in Warren, Ohio and on the former property of Copperweld Steel, and produces exceptionally high quality with modern Electric Furnace Steelmaking, ladle refining, vacuum degassing and casting.

VP Sales - sold engineered steel bars to automotive, industrial equipment, appliance, aerospace, defense, energy, oil& gas, and distribution markets for $1 Billion company.

P&L responsibility for $200 million five plant, multi-product, mult-state. Improved EBITDA from zero to $15 million - created and led a cross functional team to build a line item cost model for the plant managers to eliminate unnecessary operations and encouraging sales team to replace low margin items with better ones.

Led a team of sales engineers and field salesmen to set and beat difficult volume, margin and price objectives, report on competitor and customer activity and to recruit, coach and train to earn the company's best margin improvement for 3 years from home based office.
