The premier nameplate of the limousine manufacturing industry for almost 30 years, I was responsible for sales to livery firms and individuals in the nation's two largest markets of Chicago and New York. In 2002, I assumed sole responsibility for the conception, design, and overall content of the firm's website, product brochures and magazine ads — these new campaigns re-established and re-enforced the firm’s reputation as the benchmark in limousine quality and luxury. Editor’s choice (unofficial recognition) for best magazine display ad and content. Designed magazine cover for one monthly trade issue, which included a feature article on the new products and branding efforts being undertaken here. On occasion, some of our limousine clients called seeking contact information of the advertising firm we employed so that they could hire 'that firm' to promote their own business.Most importantly: sales generated from these new ad campaigns and new website energized sales, consistently filling the factory’s order logs.The restoration and promotion of our premium image assisted in soaring sales numbers, which resulted in achieving the President’s goal of selling the company for top dollar in 2006.

Partnering with my father, this was a multi-discipline firm with a primary emphasis on insurance products. Worked to bring FLSA alternative coverage to Missouri during the workers compensation crisis of the ‘90s. This product gained marginal acceptance in the marketplace, but was eventually nixed by the Department of Insurance.Dad reached retirement age and took advantage, so for me, it was off to the next opportunity.

Moderated physician discussion panels (focus groups) across the nation to discuss the merits and cautions of specific pharmaceutical products and appropriate marketing strategies for same. While previewing the upcoming promotional strategies designed by corporate, I also created and tested strategies of my own. It was during these focus group sessions, where feedback is immediate, eye-to-eye, and visceral, that I learned some of the finer points of product promotion/positioning and corporate image building. First post-college venture and co-owner with my brother. We jointly carried full responsibility for day-to-day operations of restaurant that employed 15 people. Opened a second location after two years in the business, which more than doubled the number employed to 40 and increased annual revenues from $250,000 to over $500,000. Annually recognized on local "Best Of" lists for "Best Chili" and can claim Doc Severinsen as a customer with a passing mention on The Tonight Show.
