Collect and gather data to run reports for administration. Look at current processes and find ways to improve them so that staff and physicians can work seamlessly to provide the best patient care possible. Work with the network administrator to work through problems with network issues. Meet with department heads to see if there are processes that can be improved. Handle all website requirements, including but not limited to, updating, and adding items to help keep the community informed. Create flyers and other simple documents to help staff with their requirements. Develop solutions to problems as they are brought to my attention. Work with other Information Technicians in resolving issues.

Provide technical support for small businesses in regards with desktops, laptops, printers, timeclocks, software design, networks, and websites. Assist small business owners with technology issues that are not understood and explain what the issues are, how to resolve them, and providing the fix for them. Required skills include any operating system including but not limited to Windows, Mac, Android, Linux, iOS; office suites; printer functionality; and networking. Other skills include bookkeeping, accounting, critical thinking, and decision making.

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, time clocks, software design, telephone systems, and websites. Work with nurses, administration, and other hospital employees to assure patient safety and documentation is complete. Communicate system status with employees when upgrades are required. Maintain server and network stability. Maintain security on systems to provide patient confidentiality. Required skills include VMWare, Microsoft Windows Operating System including Windows XP through Windows 8, Microsoft Server Operating Systems including Server 2003 through Server 2012, Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Office including versions 2003 through 2013, Android OS, iOS, Cisco switches and networking, wireless, IBM AS400 Series, remote access, virus removal, printer maintenance, laser printer repairs, and knowledge of Meridian and Nortel phone systems.

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, time clocks, software design, telephone systems, and cameras. Effectively communicate with the customer to fully understand the problem. Determine the best solution to the problem and whether an on-site visit is needed. Provide professional service with on-site calls. Required skills include: knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems starting with Windows 95 through Windows 8, Windows Server 2003 Small Business and Standard through Windows Server 2011, Android OS, iOS, Mac systems; removal of viruses, adware, spyware, and malware; installation and configuration of networking protocols, switches, Cisco and other firewalls, wireless, and remote access; troubleshooting and fixing printer problems including: fusers, toners, transfer rollers, fans, motors, drive gears, and output rollers; installation of software; installation and setup of Cisco and Nortel phone systems, and installation of hardware. Complete service tickets with time and parts for billing. Keep track of inventory and place orders for items that are low or out. Make deliveries for consumable items. Create software for clients as needed.

Maintain equipment to assure that the store was able to function properly. Maintain the grounds so that customers could enjoy the beauty of the area. Responsibilities included: using customer service skills to keep customers happy, fix problems as they arose in the store, help managers with scheduling and other employee problems, monitor store cleanliness and clean up as needed, unload delivery trucks and manage inventory, and assuring that all technical problems with the store computers and cameras were resolved by contacting the proper companies or fixing them as required.
