Chuck Fairchild started his company with 20 years of electronic systems experience. During the day, you could find him in his tool-equipped van, traveling from site to site installing and servicing systems. At night, he worked from his den, estimating projects, project engineering and completing administrative tasks. Fairchild Communication Systems (FCS) quickly outgrew Chuck’s van and den, thanks to his belief that customers deserved exceptional value and service.Having served 36 years in the industry, today he still loves designing solutions to technology needs, fixing and improving electronic systems and teaching others. That same relentless drive and passion has helped establish the values and tailor the culture at FCS, reflecting what he believes is important. “Work hard and treat others the way you want to be treated.”Chuck devotes much of his free time to his wife and four boys and enjoys all things outdoors, including camping, hiking, working in the yard and climbing mountain summits. In the past, he has been a devoted volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and Scoutmaster with the local troop, which mirrors his beliefs about the importance of duty to God and country, leadership, responsibility, honor and integrity.
