Chuck Feinberg has a broad professional, technical and business background. He is the Executive Vice President and a Partner in the environmental and clean energy sustainability consulting firm, Greener by Design, LLC. He also Chairs the Board of Trustees and is the US Department of Energy’s designated Coordinator of the nonprofit NJ Clean Cities Coalition, NJ’s only statewide entity focused exclusively on promotion of public/private partnerships to advance alternative fuels and advanced vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, plug-in vehicles, and idle reduction initiatives. He has led successful proposal efforts, and managed large grant projects and contracts from the US DOE, USEPA, NJDEP and NYSERDA dealing with a variety of alternative transportation fuels and related infrastructure, as well as other clean energy and microgrid projects. He also provides a variety of services to other public and private consulting clients. Chuck was recently unanimously elected to the Advisory Board of Empire Clean Cities. He served as Chair (appointed by the President of the NJ Board of Public Utilities) of a NJ State Energy Master Plan advisory workgroup on Alternative Fuels and Vehicles, and he Chaired the NJ Clean Energy Innovation Council’s committee on Alternative Transportation Fuels. He also served on the Board of Trustees of the national nonprofit Transportation Energy Partners, and he Co-Chaired the Sustainable Jersey Green Fleet Task Force. As a senior environmental and clean energy professional, Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tufts University, a Law Degree from New York Law School, and is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York. Chuck also was a gubernatorial appointee to the NJ LPG (Propane) Education and Safety Commission, which is an advisory board to the Commissioner of the Dept of Community Affairs.Specialties: Program and project management. ChairmanNj Clean Cities Coalition, A Nj Non-Profit Corporation Apr 2009 - PresentChuck established the NJ Clean Cities Coalition (NJCCC) as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of New Jersey for the promotion the development and use of alternative fuels, alternative fuels vehicles, and related infrastructure. As a designated Coalition within the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program, the NJ Clean Cities Coalition is one of approximately 90 similar entities across the US, and the only one in New Jersey. Clean Cities strives to advance the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption. The Clean Cities network of coalitions support the development of public/private partnerships to promote alternative fuels and advanced vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction. Mr. Feinberg led several successful proposal efforts and is now managing projects which are: deploying natural gas vehicles, building CNG fueling stations, planning a regional electric vehicle network, lowering emissions of vessels operating in NY Harbor, and generally raising awareness of the need for petroleum reduction in the transportation sector.

TEP coordinates the annual "Energy Independence Days" (EID), a partnership among coalitions and industry supporters of the 80+ Clean Cities coalitions that exist all over the United States. Sponsor funds from industry make it possible for dozens of Clean Cities coordinators to travel to Washington, DC to receive briefings, exchange ideas, and meet with congressional members and staff.
