I've been working with emerging technologies for almost 25 years from early desktop publishing at TV Guide, through the internet boom years at EarthWeb and Sesame Workshop, 6 years with Wunderman, a year at Domani Studios, Havas WorldWide New York, and Razorfish where I was part of the Emerging Experiences team.My interests and work revolve around the intersection of Digital and Physical. I'm aggressively involved in the Maker Movement and have exhibited at Makerfaire, and written for Make Magazine. I co-founded a local MakerSpace in Montclair NJ, called HackNCraftNJ. I have also started teaching regular Maker classes at Razorfish including Arduino, Raspberry PI and Soldering.I created and ran a R&D/Emerging Technologies lab called MadSci Labs at Havas WW NY. We worked to keep on the cutting edge of emerging technology by building demos, educating the agency and prototyping possible client opportunities. My specialties at this point are Emerging Technology development (Physical Computing and Creative Coding), JQuery, Ruby on Rails, .net, node.js, APIS, Location Based Services and "mash-up" style development, but I've been managing traditional Web development project's for over 12 years in every language imaginable. I'm especially fond of integrating data backends (custom and CMS) with rich front end environments. CMS experience with Sitecore, Adobe CQ, Drupal, Wordpress, etc. I've managed development of multiple native apps for IOS including an app using the Adobe DPS platform. In 2005, I started Mologogo.com (an early gps/location based social network) with Jason Uechi (http://www.linkedin.com/in/gravitymonkey) and at one point had over 100k registered users.Specialties: Web Software development, Marketing Technologies, Content Management, Web 2.0, Location Based Services, NFC, Desktop Fabrication, Natural Interfaces, Ruby on Rails, Ruby Motion, 3D Scanning, IOT, VR, Oculus, Hololens Development, Drones and robotics using ROS.
