I began teaching at SCCC during the COVID-19 pandemic when demand for asynchronous, online courses suddenly and rapidly increased. I developed an Introduction to Sociology online course module that was deployed through Canvas, and have since worked to accommodate it to the ever-changing landscape of online education (most recently, the emergence of Language Learning Models such as ChatGPT).

I worked within the Health Informatics Department, focusing primarily on clinical analysis, member health, and provider performance. I lead senior and junior analysts in quantitative research projects, participate in data governance and standardization, and maintain surveillance over chronic conditions and epidemic diseases.In addition to clinical analysis performed in across SQL Server, GCP, and other databases, I was also heavily involved in data governance/stewardship and BI development initiatives to create more reliable sources of information to inform our downstream analyses. I frequently worked with business stakeholders and developers to interpret customer needs into technical processes.

Worked as project lead on studies examining the effect of interview quality on outcome variables and response rates. Additionally, I was project lead for a large data merging project which aimed to incorporate external economic indicator data into internal AARP datasets.
