During one of our first sessions, he asked me to think about my ideal or "dream" career/work scenario. I made a list of everything I wanted in a job, if anything was possible (full disclosure, I think I remember being annoyed at this point because I really doubted there was any magical method to getting everything you want). I made the list anyway, and Chuck never gave up on giving me the time, opportunity, encouragement & outside the box ideas to get me there. My life has transformed in ways that I truly never imagined they could, and while I want to say I owe it all to Chuck, I can hear him in the back of my mind as I write this saying "You did the work!", and he'd be right. I did do the work, but I needed Chuck to push me when I needed a push, hold me accountable when I didn't follow thru, learn to forgive myself when I came up short, and most importantly- to learn from the setbacks, dust myself off and get back on track without "staying stuck" in the muck. Today, I'm working for an agency that speaks to my passions, in a role that checks off every single one of the wishlist items I had written down at our first session almost 2 years ago.
