My experience with Tovar Snow Professionals consists of wearing multiple hats throughout the year. From sales to operations, customer service to collections, managing to mentoring. It makes everyday interesting and continually pushes me to grow in my professional career. As a service provider, one must believe in the company they represent in order to have success in sales. That makes for an easy check of the box for me, since I've been in the field and know what we are capable of. I initially gained some snow and sales experience by going door to door after grade school with a friend and asking if we could shovel peoples' driveways and sidewalks. When the interest was there, the homeowner would ask about cost. We would respond with, "Whatever you think we deserve." I quickly learned that I needed to price the work myself upfront rather than leave it to the mercy of the homeowner after a couple jobs of getting paid in cookies or some hard candy! In high school I made it to the minor leagues and was the lead of a shovel crew in charge of a large subdivision for a friend's brother-in-law's company. We'd work all night and my mom would typically call me off of school the next day (love you mom). I later graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Construction Management. I worked for two great home builders, but as the housing market continued to decline, I decided to seek out other options. My neighbor at the time worked for Tovar, offered me a job, and the rest is history! I'm truly a blessed man to have stumbled upon such a great organization. I married the love of my life, have three beautiful children and an amazing dog; living the American dream. My leisure activities have decreased some since the arrival of children, but I really enjoy scuba diving, downhill skiing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing, kayaking and camping. Sharing such experiences and making memories with others is what brings me the most joy.
