Founded in August 1983 HANSEN supplied over 2,000 sewer, water, and highway Enterprise Asset Management solutions, worldwide, now part of INFOR PUBLIC SECTOR. The company was sold to Infor Global for $100 million in June 2007. Products included Asset Management, Building Permit, Property Tax, Work Order, and Utility Billing systems for local governments and utilities. When acquired, Company served 15 of the 20 largest cities in the United States, with offices in London, Toronto, Auckland (NZ), and Melbourne (Australia). In April 2006, Chuck Hansen teamed with SF-private equity firm, Golden Gate Capital, that led to the acquisition by Infor Global, a year later. HANSEN was responsible for the development of two of the world’s largest infrastructure management projects, including the California Highway Department (Caltrans) work management solution, where he re-inventoried over 150,000 km of roadway and implementation of the City of New York Department of Environment Call Center solution.During his tenure HANSEN won the national tender to deliver the first standardized Pipeline Asset Management Solution (PAMS) to every city and district council in New Zealand.HANSEN also co-developed the first national standard for Closed-Circuit Television Inspection, beginning in 1990 with the adoption of the City of Houston where over 250 CCTV trucks used the standard to inspect over 5,000 miles of sewer.
