I am like a cat, only living all my lives at once. I've always been a techie/nerd, finding new ways to solve problems. I've always been a music lover - it's as if it's part of my DNA, obtaining my first LP record when I was just 6. What started as hobby-jobs in middle school running sound, recording, and fixing equipment for local bands led to a major in Electronics in high school that got me hired by IBM before I graduated, and a degree from Full Sail University. I later shifted to Information Technology. Cars have also been a passion for me and I started in pro-racing in 1979. Racing, like media was a side hustle for decades. As most any pro-driver or starving artist will tell you, those are passion vocations and if you want to make a real living, do something else. So began a long career in IT.Throughout it all, life has always somehow given me opportunities to be a teacher. From teaching other kids how to drive anything with wheels to helping professors deliver topics in college, to ultimately being a professional speaker & instructor, it has been a theme for me. I love it and my talks are engaging & dynamic while being memorable & applicable beyond the venue. While working as an IT department leader, I discovered Coaching through one of the industry's founders and a mentor: Thomas Leonard. Realizing that coaching is not teaching, it sparked an interest in me that led to coaching Fortune 500 executives and entrepreneurs. After decades in IT, I ultimately turned my Coaching focus toward my passion for the motorsport and transportation industries, turning into an entirely new career. I have spent decades teaching and coaching in the transportation sector for manufacturers, marketing companies, motorsport, military & LE. Indeed, a company I started in 1999 for motorsport evolved into a full-stack adult education and coaching company (rEvolution Performance) focused in transportation. Performing Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, and Delivery as the company grew. From that, I have been featured on Success Television, Entrepreneur Radio, and in magazines such as Entrepreneur. I left rEv, recruited to focus solely on a position in Apple's Special Projects Group in 2021. Unfortunately, the project was scuttled in 2024 leaving me ready for what's next.Along the way, I've served as a professional keynote speaker outside of transportation for organizations like the Business Innovation & Growth Council, Center for Creative Leadership & Innovation, Queens University McColl School of Business, Key Bank, US Federal Reserve, TED, and many others.
