A seasoned and impactful business leader, I spent the majority of my "initial" career (30+ years) in HR leadership positions for a number of organizations from a variety industries (pharma, telecommunications and financial services). This also included experience from a wide range of business climates (from entrepreneurial / start up to growth and mature to declining / divesting). Along the way I had numerous opportunities to build high-performing teams and disciplines from the ground up, including a global HR shared service function at Covance and a highly impactful HR discipline at start-up WinStar Communications. Leveraging this background, I founded my own HR consultancy in 2015, Hopper Advisory Services - focused on "solving HR for small business". I haven't looked back!
