Chuck is a Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of SkyThread and a retired partner from PwC where he was the US Practice Leader for Aerospace, Defense & Security. Chuck has supported dozens of Fortune 500 companies over the past 40 years in the deployment of Value Based Management, enterprise resource planning systems (such as SAP / Oracle), performance management systems, activity based costing systems, financial consolidation systems, MRO and supply chain systems. Chuck has provided transformation and strategy, merger integration, business process and valuation consulting services to public and private companies.While at PwC, Chuck led the A&D practice and was the Global Relationship Partner for Boeing. In that role, he had teams in over 55 countries supporting the international expansion of the company and its programs. He was also the Global Engagement and / or Advisory Point Partner on other A&D companies and three US Airlines during his 12 years at PwC. He spent 3 years commuting to Japan, China, Hong Kong and Singapore in support of the growing Aerospace / Heavy Industries. Chuck has supported companies in the research / design of "Target Costing for New Product Development" which included participation from Boeing, Allied Signal, Chrysler, Kodak, Emersen Electric and GTE - a joint effort with the Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing.He was a contributor on 4 books, numerous articles and has given many presentations on topics of interest to the industry including - "Data for the Life of the Aircraft", "SAP on Board" and "Fleet Vision".He is now focused on emerging technologies such as Digital Aviation and Blockchain. At SkyThread, Chuck will lead strategy for the development of an industry wide blockchain consortium, a blockchain utility layer and a series of 30+ value driving use cases in the transaction layer.
