While having retired from my regular position from Pima Community College I have chosen to remain an adjunct economics instructor teaching when needed.As an adjunct instructor I have previously taught in traditional lecture/classroom, self-paced, independent study, pre-recorded TV telecourses and live interactive TV modes of delivery. In my online teaching I have taught using WebCT, Blackboard and Desire to Learn (D2L) learning management systems.

Co-founded company which provided computer applications training and IT consulting for businesses in southern Arizona. Major clients included State of Arizona Department of Education, Hughes Missile Systems (now Raytheon), Groupo Chamberlin S.A., and Santa Cruz County JTPA.

Started as a computer applications instructor teaching introduction to computers, DOS, WordPerfect, and Lotus 1-2-3. Wrote curriculum for bookkeeping course and assisted with hiring of first instructor for that course.Promoted to Operations Manager for the Tucson Site where I assisted the Site Director and was primarily responsible for managing Purchasing, Maintenance, Accounting and student Job Placement.

Worked in mortgage lending department responsible for designing and managing a loan document preparation system using a Wang 2200 series mini-computer. Designed system and wrote PC program to track changes in interest rates on adjustable rate mortgage loans whose rates varied with changes in various industry indexes. Major accomplishment was the designing of a system to centralize and automate mortgage loan document preparation while keeping the loan application and mortgage document signing decentralized among the state-wide branch system.
