30+ years building effective strategic alliances, creating partnerships and driving revenues, profit, and market share within a meetings and learning & development concentration. I work with program managers, chief learning officers, and L&D leaders to identify and/or create learning environments that best support training and learning and development programs by providing turnkey solutions for in-person, residential, and experiential learning.As founder and Principal at CSN Connects, I connect learning organizations with the perfect learning venue that best supports their program. My hospitality experience includes great hotels, resorts and conference centers as well as leadership roles in the organizations that service the meetings, training and learning industry.Planning for the new normal during and post COVID-19:The COVID-19 pandemic has caused corporations and organizations to pivot their L&D programming to virtual delivery. While this has effectively accommodated immediate needs, it’s clear that virtual learning cannot replace in-person learning. In fact, this experience has revealed the shortcomings of virtual and magnified the value of face-to-face interaction.
