Chuck is an executive-level leader, non-profit board member, and complex problem solver deeply committed to self-development and excellence. His relentless pursuit of these qualities is driven by his desire to positively impact others, society, and the world. He excels in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments, demonstrating quick learning, decision-making, and risk management. His passion for the never-ending cycle of ignorance to competence, the ability to gain new knowledge and experience, and seeking innovative ways to apply it practically is evident in his work. He is skilled at planning, resourcing, writing, briefing, public speaking, podcast hosting and producing. Chuck enjoys investing in people, the best investment of our most valuable resource, time; he recently served as the Deputy Commandant of the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Fort Liberty, NC, and is retiring from the military. In addition to his military service, he is the founder and owner of Lycos Group, LLC and Objective Arete, LLC; he previously served on the Board of Directors for Talons Reach Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for Dreams4All Foundation.Throughout his military career, he has served as a Special Forces Sergeant Major, Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, and Infantryman.He is a lifelong learner who attended North Central Institute for General Studies and is finishing a BS in Strategic Studies and National Defense at Norwich University with a 4.0 GPA. He will graduate from Norwich in April 2025 and retire from the Army in June 2025.
