Current• Designed 6 radiation therapy medical devices for advanced patient and machine QA and lead designer of 5 SRS/SBRT QA dosimetry products. Combined, these products generate an additional $21 million annual hardware revenue (35% of hardware portfolio).• Designer of 100+ medical device accessories that support all key hardware products in $100M+ Sun Nuclear portfolio. Hardware sales and hardware support contracts accounted for more than 90% of SNC total revenue in 2022.• Lead Mechanical Engineering team on medical device design from concept to commercial launch. Ensures product viability by leading industrial design and cost reduction activities.• Manages efforts between Document Control/Configuration, Product Design Requirements, and Mechanical Engineering teams to balance efforts between new product development, research, and product sustaining efforts. Product health, quality, and performance has allowed SNC to grow hardware revenues.• Directed mechanical engineering efforts for the SunSCAN 3D project. Released to market in May 2022, this machine is a best-in-class device for linear accelerator (Linac) commissioning, beam scanning and annual quality assurance in Radiation Therapy. The device is projected to triple revenues in the EU as this device class is often the main decision point on international tenders for QA package deals.
